I read the Courant on line and they have articles on Villanova vs GTown and Michael Jordan but no mention of the anniversary of the greatest day in CT sports history. Are they that out of touch with their readers?

The most important thing on the Courant sports page today is Don Amore's reporting that Bouk is coming back for another year. "We've got unfinished business." ~~ James Bouknight.
Awesome news.

Friday marks the 20th anniversary of the UConn men's basketball team's first national championship. In this audio documentary, Jim Calhoun, Kevin Freeman, Rip Hamilton, Rashamel Jones, Khalid El-Amin, Souleymane Wane, Jake Voskuhl, Tom Moore and Dave Leitao look back on the ups and downs of that magical season, beginning with the cloud of uncertainty that hung over the Huskies in the spring of '98, when their loss to North Carolina in the Elite Eight was fresh and a couple of key players had a foot out the door. You'll also hear some of Joe D'Ambrosio's iconic radio calls, courtesy of WTIC-AM 1080.

Was this even a question?

Before the pandemic canceled all the pre-draft workouts, it was. He was most likely coming back anyway, but he's so gifted and all it takes is one GM to fall in love with his potential.

Let's be honest, who makes a big deal out of a 21st anniversary?

Apparently the Courant likes to include past events. All I am saying is today would be a good day to include 3/29/99. The memory gives me a reason to smile on an otherwise gloomy day.

I got ya. Tough day for you then. The JI does a This Day in UConn History, except on Sunday.

So they couldn't make some new content for this year, and are recycling last years?
