Reviving this - pulled up the upcoming MBB schedule and a lot of games will be on FS1, which I don’t think I can watch without getting the channel on cable. I’m guessing I may need to watch on trial on my computer - while I’m “working”.

Let me know if I missed any better methods of watching these games!

No, it's just that you "getting SNY" won't work for most people here.

If you're watching SNY UConn games on Fox Sports app with YTTV, it means:
1) You live outside of CT or
2) You pay for another TV service which gives you SNY or
3) It's in error (i.e. SNY never plugged a hole when YTTV dropped them)
I'm getting the game not SNY. I live in CT. I'm using the Fox Sports app through my Roku TV. It's free. Many people have Roku and I am sure it will work for them. Why are you continue to argue with me from a position of ignorance?

Ah - also:

4) You're not watching it live.
I did the first time around, putz. Nothing you have said in our discussion here has been correct. Telling me I'm not watching it live after I did so? What arrogence. You should have taken the L a long time ago. That you haven't says much about your character.

Calm down there sparky.

Did it occur to you we both could be right?

This is a thread about people wanting to cut the cord. My point all along is that SNY via YTTV credentials shouldn't work. If it works for only your Roku, fantastic! If it works for everyone, even better! But, it's not supposed to work, and more likely than not, won't work for anyone else.

Anyway, I'll try it tomorrow night on my AppleTV - if it works, fantastic.

You were pointless. I know what you did. When I said all the SNY games were on the FOX Sports app, you wrongly took that to mean the entire SNY network was available on the app. Then proceeded with your insulting mansplain list. Bottom line for me is that whenever you watch WBB team on the FOX app you will think of me. You're welcome.

Wow, who peed in your cheerios?

This isn't hard. You're the one that seems to be hung up on SNY proper vs Fox Sports. It really doesn't matter.

All of these apps have the same provision - you log in with TV Provider credentials, and it grants you programming. If your provider doesn't have rights, then the app shouldn't let you watch it. Whole network, game only, doesn't matter.

My point all along - logging in to Fox Sports shouldn't grant you any SNY programming, ESPECIALLY in SNY territory, with YTTV. This is based on the link i posted too, which you apparently either didn't read, or couldn't misconstrue as easily.
If you get it, it's likely a bug. I'll check myself if it works for me, as I'm a YTTV customer, too. Put it this way - i wouldn't replace that Roku for the time being.
