Beckerman is horrible. How Pulicic and Nagbe are not in there is whack. This is a free game, go for it. THis line up has no chance of winning.

Really disappointed in Klinsmann playing for the respectable loss rather than gambling for a win.

And of course Klinsmann's "safe" starters are right in the middle of breakdowns leading to goals the other way.

Forget the second half, I can't wait for the press conference.

we can not connect 2 passes, mid field is a shambles

Yep. What do you expect. No speed. No skill. Wondo is a target forward, he might be serviceable if say, Messi was in midfield and Wayne Rooney. We have nobody who can dribble but Dempsey and he can't get the ball.

Down 2-0 he damn well better put the kids in.

Bradley looks better, but he's given it away twice.

For the life of me I will never understand why JK couldn't see that a very fast team with Nagbe, Pulisic, and Johnson at midfield would force Argentina to be more cautious.

Based on the first half you need to move Zardes along side Dempsey. Any of the available options to on the wing will increase the overall speed of the squad.

Pulisic in, Wondolowski out, 45 minutes too late.

Don't be a Colonel Klink-smann, or Sargeant Schultz!

No one has any confidence on the ball.

I really hope JK starts a younger lineup in the third place game. Put Wood and Bedoya back in and put in Nagbe and Pulisic. See what they got heading into WC Qualifiers

I know it's an excuse. but for the USA the yellow cards keeping out Brooks etc. was big.

Brooks is in, but they badly miss Wood and Bedoya.

Those two, and Jones as well, really add a toughness that we just haven't seen tonight.

I like Bradley, but his game is too slow against the Argentinian's. You must be extra aggressive against Argentina, and must take on risk.

The US Defense looks pretty good considering the US offense is trying to press Argentina and risking some 3 v 3 or similar back on D. Against guys like Messi, very risky, but so far the D is very good.

I'm so ready for the U.S. to move on from Bradley. The guy has stunk for 3 years now.
I think you are right. USA soccer is evolving and we have reached a plateau. We need get to the next level, and Bradley at this point in his career is not the guy. In general, I think we need more risk taking players. Players who can hold on to the ball (including the defenders who must cut down on clearing the ball to the other team).

As far as beating Argentina, a team must be significantly more physical ( as Donovan said about the US yellow card total), You must get them out of their comfort zone and match their aggressiveness. USA simply does not have the players to do it. And Messi is a difference maker, no matter what your strategy is.

Bend it like Messi....wow!!
