Of course we know that the UConn women have won a championship, but you may not know that the state of Connecticut is also the home of a second champion - I just don't know which team. Tomorrow night, Quinnipiac and Yale will face off in the Frozen Four in Pittsburgh for the Div I ice hockey championship. The campuses (campi?) are separated by about 10 miles.

Quite an accomplishment for Quinnipiac, just a few years away from a D II History…and Yale, with its academic index requirement and lack of athletic scholarships, equally impressive.

Yeah, I watched the win last night, they looked good.

The Connecticut schools should just form their own sports conference at this point. No one can keep up with them anymore. Who needs the Big 10 or ACC?
