Connecticut’s Madison Square Garden home-court advantage is back...

As opposed to Seton Hall?

No one thought Rutgers was an add that needed to be made for anything to do with basketball. Even more than the location, Rutgers came in when the conference was trying to build a critical mass of football schools.
Lol, way to double down, but I’ll pretend that you’re actually seriously confused. Yes, they wanted a D1 football school, because they are a P-5 conference, but they also wanted a D1 football school in the NYC DMA so that they would get access to first tier of cable at a premium price.

I mean, seriously, you understand that the P5 conferences are football conferences so Seton Hall wouldn’t be considered right? And you don’t seriously think that big 10 schools thought they needed Rutgers to “bolster“ their football product, do you?

Serby is usually an insufferable read so that might have been his best article ever lol

Well, Nova had more to be loud about during the game. The spurts that UConn hit shots the UConn fans sounded loud on TV. Nova had some big defensive plays that jacked up their crowd at times. It was a frustrating game for us because we couldn't finish at the rim enough times.

Give it time. 60-40 Nova fans now, maybe 50-50 next year. If you're winning, the fans show.

Was it 60-40 Nova or 60-40 all other fans but UConn?
Majority of providence fans left after that dismal showing. Not a ton of Creighton fans as you’d expect. Even less stuck around for the 2nd game. So mostly only Nova and UConn fans left.

Was definitely more Nova noise at game. Not sure if it was all Nova or that plus anti Uconn. I had a row of providence fans in front of me who were more boisterous for Nova then at any time during their game for good reason. I was disappointed in the crowd.
