Let's not get into a stupid political debate. Let's just be happy that politicians feel the same way we do: this is some serious bs. Only good can come from that.

I am glad they are taking up the cause but not sure how much faith I have in them.

Agreed. Bill, we don't know if they will do anything, but as fans we are looking at people to take up our cause, so this is a positive.

Blumenthal is IMO the second-most annoying politician in DC other than Boehner. But dude's a pitbull - and more importantly, he's CT's pitbull. So by all means, sic 'em!

I just hope Larsen doesn't try anything stupid like attempt to share a camera with Blumenthal. He may lose a limb or an eye or something...

If this is a political move it's not a bad one for either of them. Considering the fact that blumenthal is not up for re-election for 4 year no one will remember if this doesnt go any where and if it does turn out well he will be able to bring it up when the election does come. And for Larson he is considered the 7th most stable districts in the country, or something like that, so this has a lot to do with him wanting to promote his state's university and the fact that he is in the leadership of the house does not hurt UCONNs cause.

There was a lot of talk of congress intervention during the whole re-alignment fiasco and it didn't happen because the big move of texas never sent the dominoes falling, but if this were any other state you would see similar actions. Considering the fact that it is a public university our politicians should call for an inquiry.

To be honest i think we will see the other 4 reps and Joe jump on to help UCONN, especially if this does gather some steam.
