You forgot 2017 & 2018. But seriously, Dawn might be on to something here. We should award championships based on finishing the regular season at #1. So UConn would have another 4 National Championships: 2001, 2008, 2017 & 2018.

I agree with that. The banner should say #1 in AP/Coaches Poll 2019-2020. It shouldn't say National Champions since one was not officially awarded.

No. Only the end of the season. Baylor, UConn, Oregon, Stanford all were ranked #1 but they could not hold on to it. SC took the baton and ran with it until the end.
