Congrats Carla Berube and the Princeton Tigers

How many bids can the Ivy League get? I'd take Columbia over the #7 or #8 team in the P5 conferences.
Charlie Creme had indicated the Ivies could get 2, but only if both Princeton & Columbia made it to the conference tournament final. Tonight, Princeton won their semifinal, but Columbia was upset by Harvard.

Now if Harvard upsets Princeton in the championship I guess it’s still possible that 2 teams from the Ivies make the Big Dance. But if Princeton wins, as expected, the Tigers will be the Ivies only representative.

I think Princeton is already in the NCAAs and Columbia with the loss is out. The only way the Ivy get two in is if Harvard wins tomorrow.

I think that comes in less than a month with # 13 almost certain for next year, if certain key players (PB, , CD, ICE and AG) can stay on the floor, instead of the training room, and others ; e.g. Yanna. can learn how to play defense and set w/o fouling and making bunnies in the paint.

One game at a time, please..... even though it’s okay to dream.

Megan did add than remaining conference tournament play could change but as of yesterday:

The problem for Columbia now NET 46 is that their best win is Princeton NET 39 and next best is Miami at NET 50. Most of the teams in bubble territory have better wins. Miami for example has beaten UNC, Florida State, and VA Tech all better than NET 25.

Near agony at the end though. Up 3 with 26 seconds to go, Chen who is their start was fouled and missed two free throws. Gave Harvard a couple of shots at 3's to get back in it. As we said here about our team last year, missed free throws can be crucial.

Watched the second half, thought they were going to lose being down 11 with a little over 4 minutes to go. Then they go on 23 to 6 run over the last 14 minutes of the game with lock down defense. Congrats to the Princeton Tigers for getting to their second consecutive NCAA Tournament and winning both their regular season and Conference Tournament titles.
