Conference tourney pickems - the 31 Automatic Qualifiers

Hey gang, here's some fun "homework" for y'all hoop fans. All 31 conferences are listed in this form. Pick the overall winner of each conference tournament. Some of the picks are mandatory (ACC, BE, B10, B12, SEC, etc) and some are not.

Tourneys have already started, so please do picks within 24-48 hrs. Bragging rights are twofold - first, the mandatory picks, and then all 31. Have fun!!

Some upsets yesterday - Nebraska, Florida, Iowa, Texas Tech. I'm not marking the 8/9 games as upsets.

Before the semis get started in the OVC today, thought I'd share an interesting tidbit from BY-ers picks for the 31 AQs. Only 4 of the 31 conferences had unanimous picks by us:

Summit - South Dakota State
Horizon - Green Bay
Mountain West - UNLV
Atlantic Sun - Florida Gulf Coast

After the tourneys are over, I'll share some of the interesting picks with y'all. Even I went with a few heart over head ones.

Today's first final - OVC championship, Tennessee Tech vs Lindenwood. Out of the 17 BY-ers that participated in the poll, 16 picked TT, and one brave soul picked Lindenwood. Game on EPSN+ at noon 4pm.

On edit - TN Tech is the first AQ, as its opponent in today's OVC finals, Lindenwood, is ineligible for the NCAA tournament

A10 update - all but 2 folks had Richmond, and they lost to St Joe's, 50-49 in the semis.

Two intrepid fans picked Duke to win the ACC.

Officially, first AQ bid filled. Tennessee Tech beats Lindenwood 82-76 in OT.

16 BY-ers picked Tenn Tech, and someone with the handle (not BY) kat0189 picked Lindenwood.

Tomorrow brings 8 conference tourney finals.
