OT: Comet Neowise

Anyone see it yet? Visable just north (R) of setting sun for the next week.

My mother-in-law saw it in upstate Vermont the other day. Said she could see the tail and it was great. Used binoculars. I have a 1 yo waking up at 5 am, I'm about to pass out any minute now, so its hard for me to orchestrate a viewing.

Watched it the last couple of nights for a bit - needed Binoculars to really see it but I could see it with the naked eye - sorta. Only on the horizon for a day or so more from what I understand.

I saw it a couple of nights ago. I needed binoculars and even then it just looked like a faint smudge. Skies were clear but maybe too much background light here in the 'burbs.

Saw it Sat nite. Further N than I thought, and needed binocs.

Too much cloud cover and light pollution for me, sadly enough. I'd like to see it.

I saw it a couple of nights ago. I needed binoculars and even then it just looked like a faint smudge. Skies were clear but maybe too much background light here in the 'burbs.

In the New York City/Philadelphia/DC megalopolis it is tough to see faint objects in the night sky anymore. I’m relatively close to New York City so it is particularly bad here. Plus I live in the Valley which obscures the horizon. I think I’ll have to miss this one.
