He was 3 for 3 before that shot.I forgot any 3 is a good 3
Almost like he’s the best stretch 4 in the country. But if you ask for him to be the 1A All American for your team it’s probably not going to lead to a championship caliber team like some have been saying.Hate to say it but it is the truth. We needed Karaban today and he didn't show up.
Not saying, he isn't a great player. Hopefully this game is an outlier. But this is the type of game that a great player wins for you. Not today. If you want to be an all American, you win this game for your team.
Everything that could’ve went against us did. Weird happenings. We will be fine.Have we talked about how much of a prayer that Colorado player's layup was yet? He didn't even look at the hoop, just tried to draw contact and it went in.
I don't know if you'll be right, but you get an A+ from me for spelling everyone's name right. For now, I'm thinking:
1-Diarra 20 Nowell 10 Mahaney 10
2-Ball 30 Ross 10
3-McNeeley 30 Stewart 10
4-Karaban 30 Stewart 10
5-Reed, Jr 30 Samson 10
These plays all have options. Diarra had an option to not handoff, drive the basket and he would have McNeeley or a lane to the rim. He didn’t make a good read and was stuck on perimeter. He should have handed it to Karaban. So does someone get punished for that? And maybe not start tomorrow? We shall see.
Does this mean that West Virginia would beat us by 38?Gonzaga will win by 30
This.I think DH needs to seriously reconsider his approach of not calling fouls in practice to get the players acclimated to the BE. The logic makes sense in theory but this team doesn’t seem to understand what they can and can’t get away with out of conference.
Not true. Nowell has a different gear. Liam can separate from his defenders, and so does HD and Stew. That they are not doing it is the mystery. We don’t have anyone that can shake their man. Besides the fouling that’s our biggest issue, we are slow and finesse, but that rarely works.
Hi hits like Mays and runs like Hayes! There are players who will learn and get better.
There are others.
Also, I've seen Solo Ball drive plenty of times. It usually doesn't end well. This isn't the kids forte.
He's a mix of Rodney Purvis (driving) and Rashad Anderson (shooting), but he looks like he may eventually be a better defender than both of them.
Alex can't just beat a good defender one-on-one. He doesn't have speed, so he needs impeccable ball handling and some deception in his moves, ability to go both left and right, as well as ability to finish over/through contact. Still a work in progress in that regard. Still, he's a savant on the court with passing and understanding the offense. He's a solid outside shooter and rebounder and is proving to be a shot blocker at 6'9".He is a great player, but is not a take over the game kind of a player. It is going to be difficult to find a combination of players on the squad who will allow Alex to be great. I don’t think it’s gonna be an overnight fix. The retool is a massive undertaking, greater than we all expected, and maybe staff too. Victims of excessive exuberance right now. After Maui, everyone is just going to have to accept who we are, and where we are and work from there rather than who we were and what we want to be.
The start times, the gym, the refs, the travel. We’ve played 2 morning basketball games. I’m not saying we’ve played well but let’s not say the season is over because of games in Maui.
Horse crapGonzaga will win by 30
He gets in the lane and is nasty once he’s there. Sniper outside. The highlights show over and over him doing all the things you say he doesn't do. Lolz
