Jay Williams is annoying. Stop preaching, for God's sake.

Some might compare this team to the 06 team.
Talent levels might be comparable (I'd argue we have more now).
Main difference?
This team is not going to take games off.
You can just smell the filth coming off of them. They are simply not going to let any subpar teams beat them.
I'd be stunned if a Columbia/Coppin State/Quinipiac type team even gets close.
It's just funnin' and gunnin' until we get to the BE season, perhaps excepting the SEC challenge and one or two other games.
I really think we've got it all - talent, balance, and drive.

As for Drummond, it's way to early to judge, but he's going to have some growing pains. He's got to learn a post move or two and he's got to learn when to go for the block and when to simply stay still. By simply getting into position and not moving he's going to change a lot of shots. Rule #1 - if you're not on the floor, it doesn't matter how good you are.

Shabazz looks like the best player on the court, followed closely by Tyler and jeremy
Been sayin - Bazz is most mature player I've met, and it shows in his game.

It's going to be tough to get every player enough playing time this year (which I guess is a good problem to have). I just hope everyone gets enough time to develop. Definitely an exciting team to watch.

We're obviously going to be nasty on D, but overall, I don't understand all the rave reviews from everyone so far.

Plenty to like, but I'd also like to see our freshmen do something and our half-court offense click a little better.

Not worried, just saying there's a lot of room for improvement.

Olander is playing like a beast. Showing a sweet shooting touch, then getting back for a defense for a forceful rejection.

Big three from Bazz. Great to see him start off the year hot from range. Where is Double D's?

Olander is looking good. But I don't think the offense looks that great.

AD and DD not really playing that much.

I can only speak for myself. The rave comes from this combination:

1. Shabazz looks much improved.
2. Olander is bringing something that nobody, I don't think, saw coming.
3. The team is playing energized and together.
4. The defense looks like it will be one of the best we've ever put on the floor.

Jeremy Lamb could go down as... one of the all-time greats.

I agree with all those and will add that Lamb looks AMAZING.

I guess it's just that we're not blowing them out. But you're right to be excited and I'm not sure why I'm being a buzz-kill.

Is it me, or was our best team tonight the 'small team'? Bazz, Lamb, DD, RS and TO looked awfully good.
