College Football - Week 3 Thread

I celebrate any BC loss, in any sport. Check out this blurb in a release about them getting a commitment from Jah Joyner from Danbury.

BC Lands Commitment From 2020 DE Jah Joyner - BC Maven

"Joyner a 6'4 220 DE was a three star recruit according to his ranking on Rivals and 247 sports. He had a very impressive resume of claimed offers including Arizona State, Minnesota, Rutgers, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Nebraska along with lesser schools like UConn"
“lesser schools”?

Eastern Michigan up 20-14, Brandon Peters just got clocked by the EM defense. Now 23-17.

Some of these college football games just take too damn long, and as a result even the entertaining games leave you itching for a resolution by the time they hit the fourth quarter so you can go do something else.

Is it really that unreasonable to try to finish these games in three hours?

Between the bad play calling (Pitt's at the 1 yard line was some of the worst I've seen) to the bad announcing (the announcers failed to call Pitt's coaches out on it) college football is largely unwatchable.

So glad Maryland goes down, don't like em' but wow, Temple might be a very hard game to end the season now.

Also, what an odd boxscore. 1st and 4th quarters both 7-2 with nothing going on in the 2nd.

So...Illinois loses at home to Eastern Michigan.
It is frustrating, feel like Uconn really let that one slip away. Feel like that could have been a win with a tiny bit more risk taking.

Georgia Tech loses at home to The Citadel. Another school that is worse off in realignment.

Realignment? They’ve been in the ACC for about 40 years

Yeah I know. And they suck in the ACC after realignment. They stink in football and men's hoop now, 2 sports they used to be good in.

The ACC blows. Even ESPN will have trouble putting lipstick on this pig.

They stink in football because the kept Paul Johnson and his 1940’s offense around for far too long
