College Basketball is Here

I would have watched this game is it weren't on ESPN+ (which I might buy soon), but Marshall vs Hofstra is tied late in the 2nd.

I'd like to watch a lot of Marshall this season with their explosive offense led by Jon Elmore. Hofstra's Justin Wright-Foreman is one of the best lead guards in the country. He's currently at 32 points.

Planning on making the drive down to Riverdale to catch Hofstra play at Manhattan in December.

Marshall wins 76-72. Elmore scores 30 and Wright-Foreman scores 34.

UCF (AAC Preseason #1) and Florida Atlantic (C-USA Preseason #12) tied 75-75 with a little over a minute remaining.

SMU lost to Southern Miss by 10. Lots of beatable teams in the AAC this year.

I think people need to mentally prepare themselves for how many wins are available in the AAC for a well coached team that plays hard. It's gonna come as a huge shock as we have made SMU, , Cincinnati, Temple, and Tulsa look like Duke, UNC, Kentucky, and Kansas during the last few years.

It's one of the reasons I was always optimistic we make the NCAA's this year.

Florida State at Tulane
They're holding their own against Florida State. Sehic is a great player, but all that size they have sacrifices their ability to control the ball well on offense. 29-27 FSU with 7 minutes left in the 1st.

Went to the CCSU/Sacred Heart game today. I know there's a few CCSU fans on here and I see what the hype is about Tyler Kohl. A do-everything wing with strength, handle and a nice touch. He didn't have his best game, but still a dynamic player even when his game is off a bit. Jamir Coleman was great too playing a nice inside/outside game at the 4.

Sacred Heart has a young team led by freshman slasher Koreem Ozier (who dealt with foul trouble, but was fun to watch when he was on the floor) and sophomore 6'8 245 forward EJ Anosike who had a huge game with 20 points and 14 rebounds.

Even though Sacred Heart made the game rather one-sided, it was a fun live game and good to see Donyell do his thing. The SHU coach, Anthony Latina, has some Danny Hurley attitude in him too.
