Even when we want Syracuse to win they can't. Against Old Dominion at home.

I'm not ever rooting for Syracuse again.
There is no reason to root for them. The difference in what they are in relation to our tournament hopes is negligible. We need to take care of our own business and cuse can lose every game for the rest of the year for all I care.

We wouldn’t get full credit for that win anyway. They would say “the starting point was out” or some such nonsense to discount.

Point being. You all should be enjoying this loss as much as I am. There is .000000001% chance it would ever have any effect on our tournament possibilities

Syracuse is a weird team. Because they are so good on defense and so bad on offense they can beat anybody but they can also lose to anybody. Wouldn’t be surprised if they beat Duke. Theyre like a football team that focuses on limiting the other teams time of possession. Can beat anyone and lose to anyone.

A lot of season left. Kind of early to say "our at large chances look pretty bleak."

Bleak means not hopeful. It's about forecasting the odds. Whether or not we can make it, it doesn't look likely at all.

By KenPom, we have 4 'Rank A' games remaining with 2 more likely if using NET like committee will be. To feel safe at getting an at-large bid, I'd like to have 4 or 5 such wins. We have 1 now. So have to go at least 3-3, maybe 4-2.

We're underdogs in every single one of those games. 7 or more point dogs in 3 of them. We're going to need to improve substantially and win every tossup against the best teams on our schedule left.

Point taken. Doesn't take much to convince me not to root for Syracuse.

Cuse will still limp into the tourney something like 18-13 play a couple teams who have never faced a zone and reach the sweet 16

Wahab has a front row seat to see G-Town get blown out by SMU today.
what really doesn’t make sense here is that Georgetown already has 2 centers committed for 2019 and will return 2 more centers. How many centers do they need!?

If you’re a true 5 how could you not think about playing for Ewing? He may end up starting 4 centers, lol. Georgetown will be on a ton of good big man lists. Always have been and Ewing just amplifies it.

At some point we have to accept that the ‘cuse win will not be a big resume builder and just be happy that they are bad. It helps UConn recruiting when Syracuse is struggling with a 74 year old coach.

Slightly off topic, but Tulane won a bowl game today. Looked pretty solid doing it too,

On the whole, the league continues to exceed expectations set by others. I have little doubt that we end up with a couple of ranked teams after none were ranked to start the year. Memphis has been somewhat disappointing.

Need Cincinnati to beat MSU tonight. That would definitely put them in the top 25.

Anyone thinking Nova will be an easy win is mistaken...

Anyone thinking Nova would be an easy win is a compete imbecile. But, it is a game we can possibly win. Need our A game.

Wichita State blew a huge lead to Southern Miss but took the lead back late and held on.
