Garland out for the year. Huge blow for Vanderbilt who's being led by their two freshmen Garland and Shittu. Add to the fact that Vanderbilt's guard depth was poor to begin with and Garland's injury will force sophomore Maxwell Evans (8.5 mpg) to play more.

I watched the ND game because I don’t get SNY. Durham was huge down the stretch.

Loved the brilliant ESPN analysis when Illinois has the ball down 2 late. “Go at Durham! He’s tired!” Illinois goes at Durham who blocks the shot, runs the court, and gets the slam dunk at the other end. Illinois next time down the court goes at Durham again who blocked it again. Good call on that tired thing ESPN.

Of all the players that transferred Durham is the one we will miss most. Can’t blame him at all though for doing it and I am happy for his success.

Xavier Johnson on Pitt is really good for a freshman and has already outplayed his 3* ranking. He was recruited by Kenya Hunter at Nebraska and decommitted when he left for UConn.

Currently has 16 points and 6 assists (and 6 turnovers) against Iowa right now.

They beat a way overrated Oregon team and a UConn team they matchup perfectly with and who played horrendous bball. They look like a typical Iowa borderline tournament team.

I’d say they look better than a borderline tournament team but 14 is probably a bit high also. I haven’t seen 25 better teams than them this year for sure.
