The difference is we play 2-3 wings at a time and only 1 (ish) PGs. Not to mention the difference in quality of player at PG for Adams versus on the wing for Landrew

When do we play 2-3 wings at a time? Typically our success years had 3 guards, a C and a wing or PF.

I'm using the term wing pretty loosely here, but almost always. Those 2nd and 3rd guards you're talking about like Mullins and Ball don't function all that differently from Stewart or Karaban in our offense which was my larger point
