Bad move by Cliff. If he gets caught with weed over there they will cut off his head. Come on Cliff stand for something. Can any of those guys still run up and down the court? I hope they get beat.

Cliffy must be strapped for cash. Bad investments or too much weed.

The idea of former NBA players taking part in a game in North Korea to celebrate the birthday of the Great Successor (or whatever the fig he's called) is weird and stupid. I know Rodman is weird and stupid, but I'm surprised he was able to drag other players into this. They must be getting paid a lot (I hope it's in U.S. dollars, not North Korean wons), otherwise it makes no sense. Actually, it makes no sense even if they are getting paid a lot.

The little leader had his ex girlfriend executed last year and yesterday it was reported that he had his uncle and several others executed..... ...by being tied up and eaten by starved hunting dogs...... Anyone who would play there, or go there, is either living in a cave and either has no idea where North Korea is or what is going on there, or is only going for a payday. Sad.

this is just bizarre... but judging by the list of names involved, I can't imagine many of these guys made very sound investments along the way and need some dough. We know Cliffy's issues, Vin Baker is broke, Kenny Anderson was fired from a high school job for a DUI, Doug Christie and his wife are exploring adult films, Craig Hodges was essentially blackballed from the NBA for an alliance with Louis Farrakhan, and Charles Smith still can't hit a goshdarn layup.

And Kenny Anderson was married to the girl from Real World Boston. She must've gotten what little he had left in the settlement.

LA, dude. Season 2. Tami. Got her teeth wired shut to lose weight. Had an abortion. Cried rape when David (otherwise best known for shouting "Boo this man!" in Half Baked) pulled a blanket off her, getting him kicked off the show.

Not that I watched that season or anything.

I actually watched it but they all blend together now. I liked that girl Jacinda.

It seems that everyone is missing the point here. For all of these "former" "stars" to attend and play in these show games is an outright approval of the North Korean repressive society. Sadly to see Vin Baker a "purported" Christian be there and to say nothing is sad. Seems that they forgot that a American minister is languishing in a North Korean jail, and when the question was asked of Rodman, he went off on what could only be WWE rant, that no one could understand. My question is why is this thread even here to comment on? It has nothing to do with Uconn other than the fact that a former player is one of the nitwits that were convinced in going. As one poster said, "maybe they will stay there". I am all for that.
