Vaguely, fans in first couple rows of Field House were definitely booing him and my recollection is just general of Cliff being defiant. I was sitting opposite side of the floor, but besides time, memory fuzzy as I likely went outside at halftime (greatest field house, nay basketball arena feature ever) to partake in a hidden beverage.
