Clean sweep for big east awards (merged)

Well deserved. See the UNCONN WOMEN's Basketball. org general web page for
the specifics. So... What did the BONEYARDER's think about the ongoing honors?
My primary point is that they both deserved it for their "consistency" throughout
the week and for each of them doing not only STAT sheet stuff but " off the
stat sheet ": grit, determination, and hustle/aggressiveness ( eg. blocks, steals,
passes, taking charges, hitting some threes (with NIKA) and NOT committing
fouls or causing turnovers. Let's do it again against Louisville on Saturday

Wondering if Ice, as a RS Freshman, is also eligible for this award? That would amount to a Grand Slam of UConn players winning the BE freshman of the week.
 
Question for the crowd: Has any other team EVER had 3 different frosh win BE FOW??

It figures that Carl Adamec would know. How did that earlier group work out? 2 NCAA championships, 7 or 8 WNBA championships, 8 Olympic Golds, 2 HOFs (Sue’s a lock).
 
How could Ice Brady not be a freshman? She had not played a single game until this season.

Solo Ball from the men's team was also the BE FOW. Congrats to all the frosh!
