You asked them to put it on and they refused? I'll never go there.Won't put the game on one of their 30 TVs because of course every Nfl game needs to be on twice.
Each booth has two TVs and there are a smattering of others and one huge projection TV. I can see not changing one of the big ones but I can't believe they wouldn't change the one in our booth no one else can even see.You asked them to put it on and they refused? I'll never go there.
Yes.Is that the bar located in the same place as the bowling alley on Rte 83?
A possible reason is that they offer $2 domestic light drafts during UConn games and with a decent sized football crowd there they didn't want people taking advantage of that deal.
Is the Bristol one the old Sports Rock?
As far as bars not having UConn hoops on when the Huskies are on it's ridiculous........Rookies, prior to Chicago Sam's buying them, had that issue in the past. Really ticks me off.......what state is your bar in?
But none of those compare to the old A. Ward Cafe near the Muzz. Sausage burgers second to noneYes, it's the old Sports Rock. City Sports in Bristol is part of Spare Time bowling alley on Rte 6. In Bristol, which has it's fare share of sports bars, it definitely ranks below Bleachers, Legends or even Sporty's which is much more like a small neighborhood bar.

Not defending a place I've never been to but having 30 tvs doesn't mean they can have 30 different channels on simultaneously. Often these places have multiple tvs on a single line. So turning your table's tv to your choice might turn 2,3 or more tvs to your choice.Won't put the game on one of their 30 TVs because of course every Nfl game needs to be on twice.
Did that become Rafiniello's and now is Sabino's (on the corner next to Muzzy) or was it across the street and up the road on Rt. 72????
Across the street up 72. Not sure what it's called now but different place from Sabino's. Little hole in the wall
