Since I've been gone... a lot has happened. Fact or fiction?

I've had the FBI show up at my door.. looking for homemade copies of the 1999 Championship game.

I've single-handedly kept Chick-O-Sticks in business. (There nothing like Chick-O-Stick and good stout beer.)

Did some time in a looney bin... and could be found shuffling down the hallways while under the influence of a sturdy thorazine drip - while making jokes about Trajon Langdon. Ate a lot of bland macaroni and cheese from a styrofoam bowl with a plastic spork. I blame the recruitment of Isaiah Fox and that damn Sampson kid - for the sabbatical!

Chased a world championship in martial arts with my son flying around the United States for 5 years... and found it in June of 2008.

Flew with my son to Dallas to shoot a commercial for Subway. Then flew to Hawaii to shoot 4 more. Nice.

My hair is falling out... yikes! But... I'm keeping Jim Beam in business doing it.

Have submitted 2 publications to the Library of Congress - and soon to submitting an 3rd.

Johnnie Selvie... never mind.

Developing a product for the golf industry. Having legal paperwork developed - and finalizing the prototype. Hope to be presenting it John Solheim (thru an acquaintance) to see if Ping is interested. For you golfers... this will tie right into the rule changes coming in 2016. ;-)

I've made a couple more - holes in one.

Have found over 20,000 shark teeth in the last 7 or 8 years - my newest hobby. No.. I'm not making jewelry!

I became a grandfather for the first time last year... extremely cool!

I've missed the 'crazies' out here... glad to be back.

Just in case you missed it, we won a few NCAA championships since 1999.

And we have a new head coach!

Welcome back my friend. Another memory just came back to me....you had emailed a pic of your house before a hurricane with the windows boarded up and some expletives directed a the oncoming storm scribbled on the wood plus some UCONN reference I believe. I hope you hang around a while.

Wow C-Dog, I was wondering what in the world happened to you. I still remember all the sidebar Husky talk emails you, AlexD, 33, Hooper and I used to have back-in-the-day. Welcome back, my friend.

Damn!!! Back in the days when we figured ONE national championship was all we needed.

Let's see, a federal fugitive who is nuts, a karate world champion, and collects shark teeth ..

You kinda sound like the man to be honest.

( or a typical boneyarder)

Welcome Back!

FYI....it's C-Dog's son whose the martial arts guru. But he's still the man.

@Citrusdog ...Have you lurked at all, or is this your first return visit?

I've visited once in a while - to hear recruiting names - to see who we were recruiting. The UCONN basketball season has more influence over what goes on in our house between October and March each year - than most homes. My son got the bug in 2004 (at 9) and my wife in 2011 with Kemba. (Who wouldn't be impressed with him?) So... needless to say... a loss is never good for us. I hope to post more in the future.

I've been tempted to post about a few high school players here in Jacksonville - but never did. For example: Grayson Allen (going to Duke) is a friend of my son.

Did it look like this?

Always good to see fellow Jacksonville residents on here.
