Cincy needs to realize they cannot do anything on offense that may lead to a breakout of Kentucky. They have to keep this a half court game, even if it means taking a stray shot clock violation.
 
The non-call when Thomas got his head pounded going to the basket 1st half was brutal.

Seriously. Their half-court defense is containing UK. UK's only offense is run-outs and an occasional post.
 
The refs have crossed from bias to openly helping Kentucky.

Cincinnati can not win this game.

Cincy's got their typical rock fight going. If they could hit any shots, they might even be ahead now. That last sequence hurt a lot.

Forget talent, if Cincy could make foul shots and some layups it would be tied.

The struggle so much to score as it is, that they have to be near perfect.

Kentucky is the much better team, so they are probably going to win anyway, but every 50/50 call is going against the bearcats. The out of bounds off the Bearcat miss around the 10 minute mark was an example.

Doesn't matter. I am tired of being force fed this coronation. I would like to see some other teams play.

Yeah, my statement was more about Cincy's heart compared to Kentucky's. But yeah, Cincy's laying up some ill-timed bricks today.
 
To their credit, UC's not been afraid to challenge UK inside, but they're doing it way too much.

If this was the Thursday game and UK played anyone decent today, I think UK would go down. Cincy's not going to win this, but UK players are gonna be very sore next couple days.
 
UK is going to go down in the next round, I see both the Terps and WVU being good enough to beat them.
 
Cincy will be out of bigs very soon. If only they had a little offense.
 
I'm not sure what cincy can do to pull this one off. Kentucky is just deeper, bigger stronger and more talented. Give Cincy credit for battling hard, being physical and bringing it at Kentucky. Just don't know what more they can do. To beat them in this type of game you need to go crazy from 3, which Cincy does not seem to be capable of doing.

Everytime Cincy shoots a up after the clock expires, it's good. Everytime UK does it's a shot clock violation. Got it.
 
You won't beat them missing a lot of shots and turning the ball over. Playing stupid doesn't help either.

You need a big, disciplined, offensively capable team to hang. Wisconsin comes to mind probably another team or two out there.

Cincy just doesn't have what's needed.

Our recipe last year was perfect. We outrebounded them, hit our shots and Bazz was Tom Brady to the max.

Watching this uk squad they are very good, talented and of course big as hell.
