Best part of this game was the way Batouly moved. She was match up against a guard on the perimeter for most of her time in the game and did fairly well with movement. Really good signs for UCONN.

I really didn't like the look on Megan when the camera was on her in the 4th quarter, she seemed totally detached. She did clap on queue but didn't change her expression.

Geno had warm words for Kyla today. I can’t explain it entirely, but I really pull for this young woman. She works hard and is starting to get UConn-level results. She plays with a lot of heart.

Kyla has the "Natalie Butler" curse...refs love to call fouls on her if she is within 3 feet of the person she is guarding when they shoot. The exception is when the charges she draws are waaaay obvious.

I'm very concerned about the message she's receiving from Geno as far as playing time. He says he's not trying to convey a message, bull... You have to let the kid make a mistake or two, or three and recover without the quick hook. There were others today who passed into extended arms causing turnovers. Can't bite your nose to spit the face Geno. We'll need her for the next three years...
