I watched the Pitt/UNC game in the afternoon. Couldn't help but note the stark differences in officiating. UConn/Cincy by far looked like the more physical, let's go out in the back alley and slug it out type of game. Yet only a couple dozen fouls in that one vs. 66 for a game that was more far more transition-style and looked a hella lot cleaner on both sides.
I don't get it. Seems like if you're not handchecking but are abusing the other guy in every other manner, you don't get called under the new rules.
