Chong is ranked #75?

That cannot be correct, Chong is listed as the 75th player in her class next season. No way that is correct. I hope she comes and proves to the country she is a top 10 player.

She was ranked by them quite a while ago, and they never really updated their rankings. She's #30 by Blue Star and #20 by ASGR. She was named to the WBCA all star team and played really well in that game. I think she's a legit top 15 kid, maybe higher. She was the NPOY named by 2 different publications.

But getting back to your original comment, they probably didn't get to see her - Ossining is not exactly a hot bed of perennial talent, and she never really played for prominent AAU teams.

The lack of AAU participation is key to her ranking.

She's good enough for Geno to want her to come play for Uconn, and she's the Parade Girls' BB NPOY. I'm not worried about her at all at this point.

I think to those that have watched her play more than a couple of games, Saniya has proven to be a lot better than a #75 player nationally. We don't know how she will do once thrown into the UConn mix , but I have confidence that Geno knows his stuff...... No matter who Rated her a #75 , Geno thinks she can be a Top 15 on his UConn roster. Thats good enough for me.

By my rating system I believe we could confidently rate her as probably the best rising freshman in wcbb of Chinese heritage.

If it takes Banks time to return, Chong may get major minutes early. MoJeff and Bria cannot play 40 minutes per game. KML may have to move back, or maybe Stewie plays guard!

In the NCAAs KML played guard for several minutes in every game.

Banks should be ready for minutes when the season starts. How many is yet to be determined.

Figure Hartley 25, Jefferson 20, Banks 15, Chong 15, KML 5. Or something like that....lol.
