#11 prospect in 2019 class. Does anyone know why we haven't offered this kid yet? I know he has taken visits to our campus. Kid is 7 foot 3 with an 8 foot wing-span! and runs the floor like a gazelle.

He’s been hurt so often that I find it hard to believe he’s truly a top 10 player in his class. Unbelievable ceiling. Hurley’s hire will help, but Marial isn’t really tied to CT anymore. He’s living in Florida.

Keep an eye on whether or not he plays for NE6 on the UA circuit. They have replaced Connecticut Basketball Club, by the way. Not sure if that’s been mentioned yet on this board.

Funny, I was driving down Rt 10 in Cheshire two winters ago (whenever it was before he left Cheshire Academy) and there was a giant mass limping down the sidewalk from campus towards the Stop & Shop. Sure enough, he's got a walking boot on. I didn't know health was a consistent issue for him.

That team is going to be nasty this year
 
Pass. Nice kid, incredible upside, will play maybe 15 college games before shutting it down and waiting to get drafted – which is exactly what he should do.

The only 2019s I'm really interested in are Delaire, Akok and Lecque. I think we've got a really good shot at the first two.

Yeah NE6 has replaced CBC as far as the team sponsored by under armour for U16 and U17. I think CBC will still exist but for the younger divisions..I could be wrong.

Chol did not play one game for CBC last season due to injuries. He hasn’t played many games in total in the last couple years.

I thought he moved though so maybe he wouldn’t play aau in New England anyway this season.

Yeah. Hopefully Hurley builds a good relationship with the coach ASAP. I’m really excited to watch Delaire this summer.

I dont see marial on the NE6 twitter page. My guess is he's playing on one of the florida teams now

What do you think of this kid Lester Quinones from Saint Benedicts? 6'5 wing, lights out shooter(probably best shooter in the class). I believe he led the team in scoring. Really moving up the rankings.

I'd happily take just about any one-and-done as long as they're recruited for fit, and not to build the program around. If we had an opportunity to add, say, Malik Monk to next year's team... I'd absolutely do it. If Romeo Langford suddenly fell in love with the Dairy Bar, I'd take him in a second.
 
You take one and dones, you don’t build your entire team around them. At the very least, having more pro players makes it easier to recruit.
