I will try it. Have you tried Proto’s? It’s on 15th st by the REI store.
I have not. I will look them up. Out here pizza is a rare commodity - most people are happy with Papa John's. Big Bill's is also real good. Sausage meatball and eggplant. I am in Aurora so I have to drive at least 10 miles for good pizza.

Chiep hasn’t found anything funny about our football team since the Fiesta Bowl. Randy could’ve become a CT legend but instead had to chase the almighty $. Where’d that get him?
Use the wrong burner account?

.-.
So here is the thing....if you're going to steal someone's schtick...cool, but now you need a tagline.......
Might I suggest...........IF YOU SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL WHAT THE CHIEP IS COOKIN!!!!!!!!!!

In Denver, there is a place called Papou's. The owner went to Aquinas in NB. He is from Southington, and his dad owned Sax Pizza also in Southington. Real Connecticut style pizza. Greek.
Whoa whoa whoa, this thread just got real. There may be some people and places in CT that prefer Greek pizza, but Real Connecticut Style Pizza is not doughy Greek stuff. It’s thin New Haven style 100%.

Greeks make the best pizza. Where we live, the best pizza comes from a place called Greek Tony's. It's not quite as good as CT (nothing is), but it's pretty close. Yes, they've succumbed to the trendy thin crust pizza fad, but you can still get what they call traditional crust. There's a reason it's called traditional crust. That's because it's real pizza, not this trendy fad thin crust.

Thin crust is for wimps. It tastes like a bunch of pizza toppings spread on top of melba toast. Chicago style deep dish is even more whacked. You might as well tear off a chunk of french or Italian bread and throw some mozzarella and pizza sauce on top. Thin crust is the logical result of a bunch of dieters being told they can eat it because there's less bread.

Even a casual outsider knows Akok is 6'9 and 3/4 and Pepe's is the soul of New Haven style pizza.

Poor fellow you haven't had a Colony pie?

Tour de force. Finally New England Greek has found the Boneyard champion it deserves! Sir, I flock to your standard.

Okay. It’s on.

So this CO version is doughy. More than Chicago. They should call it pizza cake instead of pie.

Chiep agrees Italian reigns supreme, but some Greek ain’t half bad. There used to be a place in Stamford on strawberry hill right next to mister donut. Don’t remember the name. There stuff was good.

Greek is usually square cut right?
I remember that place too and it was pretty good. Also don't remember the name. It was at a proverbial fork in the road.

That said, Pepe's, Sally's et. al. are thin crust pies and the gold standard. I will hit Beverly in Black Rock for a change up now and then; but there is not a Greek pie from here to Athens that is better than "thin crust" New Haven. You guys are nuts.

Sorry, but we're not Greek at all, and my handle has nothing to do with my first name. Somebody stole my old Boneyard handle on one of the switches. Nick was my father's nickname. I therefore have no dog in this hunt. We're neither Greek or Italian. We're neutral observers, like Switzerland.

I still laugh at the Chiep account. We lost a great one too young. Chiep was like Hendrix or Lady Di.
Candle in the wind.
What copycat charity do I send donations to?
Concept A+, execution C+ and dropping like a rock.

You see that a lot on the BY, a guy's got a good hook but flames out.

So, explain to me how one person flocks. The visual escapes me.:confused:

Chiep’s guessing the rocks that make a big splash entering the pond are having more fun than those stuck in the mud at the bottom for years.

Looks like Waqqy hasn’t taken that vacation yet.
I debating whether it was good satire or just a Chiep trick.

Lean towards the trick.

Can’t sustain when you’re on double secret probation. Chiep got sent to hell.com. He liked it. But he found a way out. (Just forgot his password)

In the mean time Chiep has to borrow this stooge’s account.
Yeah, just going for the pun...

Kenny11 got it just before the poll got deleted.

I just started those threads to point out how some people take this stuff way too serious. I was born and raised in Stamford. Graduated UConn in 85. We were the door mats of the old Big East back then) but they’ll never be better hoops than that). I was hooked. What Calhoun did was nothing short of miraculous. For those 20+ years I loved it. “The Shot”. Insane!

Also in that time frame, I got married, two daughters (one learning disabled), divorced, parents passed... the things that make up life. I’m now out in Colorado and remarried. Life is good.

I can’t follow the Huskies like I’d want to. Life’s responsibilities takes priority. When I look to a source for info like the Boneyard I’m hoping to find a little something. But threads devolve into “KO sucks”, “ Akok is 6’10” - no he’s not he’s 6’11”, or being overly critical of teenage kids. Who gives a crap? Are you a fan or not? Follow them through thick or thin. Have fun watching them learn and develop. I know I will. This Hurley ride is going to be awesome.

So yeah, someone implying “casual fans” are inferior pisses me off. Meanwhile talking themselves up like they’re part of the coaching staff. Gimme a break. I’m a casual fan and damn proud of it. And I know my priorities.

Anyway. Thanks Kenny for getting it.

ps. I really couldn’t give a DAM about how many likes or views I get. Make sure buy a shirt to help our fellow boneyarders daughter if you haven’t already. They make great stocking stuffers.

Isn't it spelled DAMN ?
