I saw him play last weekend, I think, he is phenomenal! Top ranked recruit in 2021, a 7'0 190 pound center out of Minnesota with great shot-blocking, ball-handling and even outside shooting skills. He dominated the game in which he played with other top recruits. Whoever gets him (looks like Gonzaga, Minnesota and Michigan lead) are getting a real good one. Seems to have really long arms too.

He looks like the male version of Breanna Stewart!

hoped he would more seriously consider marquette

He's seriously jacked.

Definitely one of the more unorthodox top rated recruits in the history of high school basketball. He's got guard skills in a 7 foot package that can rebound and block shots but you wonder how he will do against stronger more athletic players. I'm curious to see how this turns out.

He's on ESPN2 right now playing against Emoni Bates. He's as good as advertised

Just turned on the game and @navery12 is 100% right. He's still way too skinny but he plays much more aggressive than his pics may lead you to believe. I like the kid a lot.

Aaaaaaand......... the announcers just read off his Top 7 and we're not on it.

Just went between legs, took one dribble at half court, and then put down a two handed stuff down the center of the lane.

a very skilled player and looks so unassuming on the court but as slight as he is, he plays great defense and handles kids 50 lbs heavier than him

Emoni Bates was every bit as good as advertised. Unbelievable for a junior. If he get strong enough to compete at the nba level he's a 10x all star.

I watched the 2nd quarter of that game and it was the first live action of his I saw.

No player has played like him ever before...a 7'1 ambidextrous gazelle with legit point guard handle. Smooth live George Gervin but with off-the-charts competitive fire. His ability to swerve his way to the basket was laughably easy for him.

Holy moly, was he fun to watch. I wasn't as impressed with Bates, but it was only ~ 15 minute of game time I watched.

Bates is really, really good but Holmgren is the next level - right now
Let's see next year at the same time
I can't imagine how good that Holmgren will be with 30 lbs of muscle, his handle for a 7 footer is ridiculous

That’s the kid who crossed up Steph Curry at some camp past year.

Crazy talent.

Love his name, it sounds like a guy that should be on the 6 o'clock news. Sports with Chet Holmgren!
1. Champ Kind
2. Everyone else.
