She collided with a Wake player and buckled her knee. She was carried off the court to the locker room. Prayers and hope she's O.K...

ESPN reports "apparent knee injury." I hope it is not as bad as it sounds.

Reported on twitter and on the Duke radio broadcast that its a dislocated kneecap :( .... Im sure an MRI will be done soon...... She walked out on crutches an is now sitting on the bench trying to encourage her teammates.

Very sorry to hear that.......IIRC that can be a significant injury for sure. Will keep fingers crossed for her!

I had surgery for a dislocated knee cap and partially torn ACL in December 2011. It's not fun and mine did not happen on an instantaneous injury as Gray's did but over time due to an old football injury. I am no doctor, but looking at the replay a few times, I have a feeling there is more damage than that. I hope she can heal quickly. Prayers to Chelsea.

She's a great play maker. Love Gray's game. If she's out for any extended time, possibly the rest of the season, it will give even more opportunity to Jones (and put more pressure on her). This game reminds me of the SJU game where Banks went down early, Doty was only average that game and UCONN struggled to put them away. Duke is having a similar problem with Wake today.

Even without Gray, how can Duke be having trouble with Wake?
Very puzzling.

Reverse Heidi game
As soon as they started showing it, duke on run. Now up 7 with 1:45

They are a scrappy bunch.... yet underachieving big time this season. Problem is... their biggest strength goes right up against our biggest weakness.... perimeter scoring vs perimeter defense. Chelsea Douglas has been killing us today.

Unfortunately the ACC race for the regular season championship and for the tourney has become very interesting

Ugh. Best wishes, Chelsea!

Will this cost Duke in the ACC tourney or NCAA seeding?

What a shame. It's never good for the game when one of the really good players goes down. Here's hoping that, whenever she comes back, she's at 100%.
