Georgetown is set up nice. Up and down year, but Akinjo and McClung are quite the 1-2 punch, and they’re just freshman.
Not to mention Leblanc, who has a legit shot at being the best of those 3 freshman. Akinjo and McClung leave a lot to be desired shooting percentage wise, but they're playing bigger roles than they should and Georgetown isn't all that bad with that being taken into account.

He's a good freshman but shoots it less than 35% and the only way of keeping him was keeping Ollie. I wouldn't keep KO if it meant keeping CP3. Also, Gaffney has the higher ceiling. G'Town has done well to put themselves in the bubble mix but I think that bubble just burst losing by 35 to DePaul last night.

Akinjo is shooting 24% from 2(!!!!) in Big East play. On 6 shots per game. I'm not even really sure how that's possible.

He cut down his turnovers a bit in conference play, though.

They've got about 50 big men for next year too, no?

Yeah tough to look at those numbers. But as you say he's improving on his TOs and as superjohn said he and mcClung have both been thrust into huge roles their freshman years. They will both be there for 4 years I'd say and will be really good if so.

Wahab seems like the only one that has the potential to be an impact freshman IMO.

Fair, but that stable does equate to 250 fouls, so there's that.

If we had CP3 we wouldn't have had a losing season

LOL. Akinjo would have done great in Ollies offense. Give the ball to jalen, nobody move, don't cut, don't set screens, don't box out, and look for Vital for a 35 point 3 once the shot clock gets down to 2.

I watched Georgetown against Marquette last weekend. Akinjo was nasty..also very easy player to root for.

Who cares as he wasn't coming here once we fired KO. I rather concentrate on the players we have or can get. I mean there is a thread on this guy at least once a month. I think we have to leave it alone and move on. He is shooting 35% for the season so not intrigued with another smaller guard who isn't RB.
