Charde injured by hit and run in Spain

While driving to practice with her bike she was hit by a car, which fled the scene, enCancha reports. Houston was hospitalized, spending there three hours before going to team’s evening practice.

How awful for her. Sounds like she sustained some injuries, but thankfully they were not serious and she should heal 100%. Had to be really scary for her though!!

Thank God it wasn't more serious ...... in bike vs. car, car wins!!!

Prayers that the injuries indeed "stay" relatively minor (sometimes things can crop up after the fact) and that she can get back on the court soon.

Glad she appears not to be seriously injured. Especially in a foreign country where some minor injuries may not be treated accurately. But Spain is good. And I hope they catch the cowardly rat that did it.
