Champions Center donation on the horizon?

In all likelihood, it's going to be the last name of a former UConn alum who is heavily involved with and supportive of the teams (a la Burton & Shenkman). If I were placing a bet, I have an idea of who I'd pick, but we'll see!

Well, it would be weird considering UConn didn't win a championship with him.

So, from media reports, the new center has a name on it and it's covered by a tarp.

And most of us won't be the least bit surprised that the name doesn't come out until the official ceremony. Zero chance of any reporter or student infiltrating the building and finding out.

You just spilled the beans. You wrote "They should have their day". Now we know it's a plural name on the facility.

That means we can double the number of possible names on the facility.
