The only possible explanation is the Oklahoma game was the first game and Tulane did not realize how bad they were yet. BTW, Tulane is playing Cincinnati next week.

Fun matchup of former UConn OCs. Miami backup QB was good, but Lashlee's play calling had Pitt's defense scrambling all day. Good game to watch, couple of questionable calls at end went Miami's way. Pickett has a 500+ yd passing day, but Whipple couldn't figure out how to get ground game going.

Watched the whole game, don't think they mentioned he was from CT. News to me. Wish we had him. Nice touch on deep balls, not much of a runner, but hard to trap and take down.

He's been very good since stepping in for King. I still don't think he is the most talented QB they have, but he is healthy, and if he keeps playing this well he is going to keep that job.
