CFP Eliminator 2021

I really got a good feeling for LSU tonight, it’s ridiculously early though.

Undefeated teams remaining:
Cincinnati
Oklahoma
UTSA
Georgia

Teams remaining by conference:
AAC: 1
ACC: 1
Big 12: 2
B1G: 3
C-USA: 1
Indies: 1
Pac-12: 1
SEC: 2

So 7 ranked teams lost yesterday. 6 lost to unranked opponents. Sometimes teams become “fashionable” I think. Or people like the way they play. But they are really pretty average. Kentucky, Minnesota, Miss State are examples. None are that good. Or Wake Forest. Score a ton of points but basically they have 11 orange cones on defense. They hope a runner trips over one.

They didn't lose yesterday, but add Oregon to the list of schools that just aren't that good. They've had too many close games against bad teams, yesterday being the latest example.

Outside of GA, is any team good?

Elimination game for Week 12:
Ohio State (9-1) vs. Michigan State (9-1)

Michigan State and Wake Forest are eliminated.

10 teams remain.

Still the 2nd half to go, but Utah up 21-0 on Oregon. Been waiting for this to happen. Ducks have seemed like pretenders for quite a while now who kept just getting by.

Did they really beat Ohio St. in Columbus? Surely I must've dreamed that happened.

Whoa, Utah took a timeout to force Oregon to punt, just took it back for a 28-0 lead!

The real question is how Oregon with a loss to a sub 500 team ended up in the initial top 4. A consensus 10-12th ranked team after than loss to Stanford with quite a few narrow ugly wins. That committee was unmasked with this drubbing last night. Anyone want to guess they make not mention of it Tuesday night? PAC 12 fball at it's finest. Same will go for Michigan who lost to a now 2 loss MSU team who got lit up, and whose big win is?

That’s about right

I think Georgia is in regardless. i think they can fart in the general direction of everyone else and end up with the 3 seed at worst.
Georgia is crazy if they don't take the opportunity to blow Alabama's doors off and derail the dynasty. Will help the program immeasurably and put a chink in Saban's armor to not make the playoff. It's a really big game for them.

Oklahoma State is eliminated.

5 teams remain.
