If this is playing bad then Oregon's really good.

Oregon is shooting 50% and Hebard is having a monster game with 19 points, 13 boards, and 6 blocks.

3 starters have been sub par today.

Also Hebard mostly had a monster first half. Only 1 point on 1-4 FTs in the 2nd half. Added some more rebounds and blocks though.

Ionescu scored 6 points in a hurry, almost doubled her scoring output in about a minute.

Oregon was up 22 a second ago but now it's back to 16. 74-58 6:27 left.

That behind the back pass and then rebounding the unsuccessful shot to score was more characteristic Ionescu

Oregon really turned the tables on CMU w/ offensive rebounding in the 2nd half.

Yeah she's come alive in Q4. Now has 16 points 8 assists 7 rebounds. Not bad for an "off" game.

Ionescu just covered a lot of ground to go get that O board off the missed 3 from Bando. Then turned it over, but chased down the CMU player and caused her to miss the layup and grabbed the rebound. Now has 9 rebounds. 1 more board and 2 assists? On triple double watch...again.

a couple quick buckets for Hebard, hadn't hit a FG in the 2nd half til now

If Ionescu had the same energy level to start the game as she has now, this would be a 30+ margin right now.

CMU got about 5 more O boards on this possession.

if Ionescu can get 1 more rebound in the last minute, triple double #11

emptying the bench

83-69 16 seconds left

game over

Oregon and Oregon St. both in the Elite 8, pretty cool

Central Michigan had 5 players averaging in double figures and only 2 of them (Tinara Moore and Cassie Breen) are seniors. Hudson and Frost are juniors, and Kelly is just a RS freshman. They should still be team to watch next year, though Moore in particular (19 ppg and 10 rpg) will be tough to replace.

So, Oregon vs Notre Dame. ND let the Aggies score 84 on them. Aggies had Carter and Howard for offense. ND had Ogunbawale (27 pts), Mabrey, Young, Shepherd. Oregon let CMU, weak in offense in comparison to TAMU, score 69 which seems high for this particular opponent. Dux have Ionescu and Hebard. The others can score, but as consistently and in bunches like ND's weapons? Both teams have very smart coaches. Sounds like ND has the advantage?

On the other hand, Oregon beat A&M twice this year, once in College Station and once on a neutral court, and in both cases A&M failed to break 70 points. And Central Michigan is ranked 7th in scoring among Division 1 Schools, whereas A&M ranks 28th. This was Oregon's worst game since before the Pac 12 Tournament, and Sabally, in particular, seemed overwhelmed, yet they still scored in the low 80s. I'd add that, although the Oregon defense is hardly anything to write home about, I think Notre Dame's is likely its equal and maybe even worse. (If my math is correct, Notre Dame has given up 257 points in 3 tournament games, and Oregon 187.) It's also worth noting that throughout the Pac 12 and NCAA Tournaments, all of Oregon's opponents have scored below their season average, with 6 of the last 8 shooting below 40%. Don't know why exactly, but that's not a bad record late in the season.

IMO Who knows what to expect in the ND vs UO game. ND can win in a shootout, but UO has the depth. It should be exciting. This elite 8 game should be the closest. Another comment on another post commented on how this could potentially be the third year in a row ND doesn't make the F2F after making it 5 years in a row. Last year, they injured their beat player. This year, I think they would overachieve if they made the FF.
