CMU coach dissing Oregon's players a bit? Sounds like a brilliant strategy.

Yeah, Hebard just shoots layups. Nobody has tried to stop her from doing that all year. CMU's coach will be the first to try to address that apparently...

CMU's coach was right. All Hebard does is make layups. They aren't preventing her from doing it though.

I haven't watched a angle Central Michigan game this tournament. The announcers were saying that they've been on fire from the 3. Their 3s look like prayers. None of them look like they are going in.
 
Coming out of the break both teams drill a 3. Here we go!
 
Ducks bigs having their way inside. CMU looks overmatched. How did tOSU get blown out on their home floor by this team? 22-12 UO, 45 seconds left Q1.

Ducks defense doesn't seem that bad; thought they had a bad reputation there. They can certainly score in bunches.
 
CMU 5-17 shooting, Oregon 11-20. Both teams cold behind the arc but UO has other options. If CMU doesn't get hot this is going to get UGLY.

I think their defensive deficiencies were exaggerated. And they've improved. They've really stymied some teams recently w/ an extended zone, lots of length.
 
30-16 UO 5:17 in Q2. Ducks really aren't even playing very well, should be up 20 or 25. CMU can't hit the broad side of a barn.

I'm thinking Oregon is the team who will challenge UCONN the most.

Ionescu having a subpar game for her. It's like she decided to see if Oregon can beat teams without her. :rolleyes:
 
Sabally is having a bad game. 0-4 behind the arc, all 3 of the team's turnovers. Scored a few in the paint but overall not playing well.

Cazorla nearly invisible as well. Hebard has been great but overall this is a pretty bad game by the Ducks so far.

40-25 halftime. Hopefully will be a better played 2nd half.
 
Hebard 16 points 8-12 FG 8 rebounds 3 blocks. I don't know what Coach Guevara was hoping to accomplish with her comments, but I think it's safe to say it didn't work.
 
Oregon giving up too many O boards. Good start to Q3 for CMU.
