Iguadala would have been real nice. Instead we got the third best player on the late 2000s Pitt teams.

wouldn’t have been able to get kemba is they got iggy.

Giannis was a joke at the time, and people were laughing at the Bucks for burning a first round pick on him. The Hawks were the only other team even looking at him a little. Nobody could have predicted what Giannis became.

this has already been proven false. Why do you keep up this fictional propaganda? He was mocked constantly on the top 12-20 picks and they even said on draft night that scouts thought he had the highest upside in the draft, but Also the highest risk.

They used all their cap space and mle on Kemba and Kanter.

Like I said. The Celtics could get something really good in return.
Like you said? - according to your description it sounds like the Celtics would be lucky to unload him
You are now talking in circles
What is it?
They would be crazy to get rid of him - Smart, Kemba, Tatum and Brown should be the untouchables - get rid of Hayward and one of the promising young bigs for an experienced quality defensive big
That's where I would start

Brown would be fine to trade. He’s wildly overrated right now. He could grow into what people say he is now, but the reality and perception are not there yet.

It's a tough situation. Brown is the best defender of those players aside from Smart. The best two way player. Hayward is the one guy who doesn't abandon the offense, we even saw it against Miami, the ball moved better when he was in. When he was out, Tatum pretended he was Jordan. Tatum can be a problem when he does that.

I'm not sure what the best fix is. They need a mobile big who can defend and presents at least some threat to score inside. They need a deep threat at the SG/Wing spot. Can Langford become that? Have seen no evidence of it. They have pieces but the roster construction isn't ideal.
