The whole sequence of events totally disrupted any kind of offensive flow & all the stuff that happened after that may have been completely different. The refs disrupted the space/time continuum.

You're joking right? UConn and offensive flow were not synonymous that night.
There was ample time for UConn to re-develop offensive flow if you're really think that was the issue.

The refs do not have 85 eyes. They cannot see every single thing, and I hardly fault them for being unsure if a short shot a hit the rim or not. At least they checked it and got the call right.

The idea that this was a factor in how the game ended is beyond ludicrous.

The is always some movement occurring and thus traceable flow. Sometimes it is turbulent and uneven and others it moves smoothly, sometimes it is like the Snake River rapids, others it is like the lazy Mississippi rolling steadily towards the Gulf. Vector analysis can demonstrate the flow of each. The official's action changed the nature of the flow.

Among the silliest things ever to be whining about.

It is just such silliness that has 12 silver medals from the 1972 Olympics yet unclaimed. If you attempt to discuss them you will get some of the loudest "whining" you ever heard.

Thanks for the post Cat! I agree heartbreaking loss for the team, but they came back really well in the 2nd half. And I thought Stewie really stepped up this game. She played tough! Whatever was ailing her mentally the past month seems to have been cured!

I also thought Breanna played great; first time under fire against a really good team. Maybe she's coming of age.
But we choked again at the end, coaches and players both.

Not that it matters, but for the sake of accuracy, what happened the other night was more an issue with the BE's shot clock operator rather than the officials. Carl Adamec reported that Dee Kantner was positioned under the basket and saw the shot hit the rim and then signaled to the shot clock operator that the shot clock should have recycled. The clock operator didn't see the shot or Kantner's signalling. The officials did check the monitor to make sure the clock time was correct but Kantner's 2 eyes saw the shot hit the rim.

Yes, Cat that is a more accurate account of the events involved.
