CC has ALWAYS been a slow starter. When he is on, he tends to warm up as the season goes along. He is usually at his best around August/September. One start in April in not really a sign of anything. We will know by start 10 or 11 what CC has left in the tank.

88-90MPH? Yikes he's cooked I'm afraid……has to pull his best Frank Tanana now and learn how to pitch without velocity…….not sure he can!

Others have learned to do it but I think it is harder when you were a dominant power pitcher.
