Virginia makes sense if you think that VCU is really good, and Virginia almost beat them.

But they aren't.

And wins against JMU, Davidson, Liberty, and Navy, all at home, are unimpressive.

Looking at the top 25 the most impressive team for me so far when I watched them this year is Oklahoma State. But I think it's anyone's game this year and quite frankly any year as Witchita State, Butler, and VCU have shown in recent years. Will be a lot of close NCAA games where it comes down to having the ball in your guards hand hoping to advance. And we have Shabazz for that with the game on the line.

The worst is Syracuse moved up to 8 (AP). This team has played nobody and squeaks by each time. The we're down to Saint Francis New York and had to mount a late comeback to win. They again barely held on tonight to make it past the golden showers, er, I mean gophers. Typical Syracuse, I shouldn't be surprised.

This one pisses me off. That move is purely due to the name on the front of the jersey. If it was UConn beating UL in that game instead of UNC, we'd move up to 16 and UL would still be ranked higher.
