FT shooting was his biggest issue at NCST. Well that and playing in a system which didn't fit him at all.

yah. when I say jumpshot I mean off the dribble , coming off a pnr, not the set shot threes he took at nc state . His shot in general looks better, think that will translate from the stripe.
 
I don't mean to get anybody's panties in a bunch but Cassell just told me no commitment yet. He also said no commitment will be made today but definitely by the end of the week.

With that being said like Amore had in his article UConn not getting Cassell would be a shock.
 
So what's the over/under on how many Cassell threads we have by the end of the week? I say 7.

Ok, what am I missing here? He said he cut his list to UConn and Louisville, and Louisville has stopped recruiting him, right? What's the holdup?
 
His twitter said he was heading home this week. He's probably getting with his family to make the decision.

He was down in Florida, I believe, for a tournament this weekend. Yesterday he told me that he would commit after he and his family say down, talked about it, and felt it was the right time to announce his decision.

because he's a JuCo vs a kid coming out of high school isnt his commitment process a little more thorough. he's treated like a transfer right? So if he jsut dropped Louisville the other day maybe he gave a silent verbal to KO and permission to his school to release his paperwork and now UConn is just working w the JuCo to make sure his transcript is okay. the wait could be just due dilligence...

just me thinking aloud. anyone more learned in the process know differences between coming out of high school vs transfering/juco?

I don't mean this as a diss but even if Cassell had committed I doubt he would spill the beans to you. He's kept his recruitment process very lowkey.
