Just to clarify my remark: Carol never had that twitchy first-step quickness that some smaller players have. What Carol has is a quick mind: she makes decisions based on her reading of the court in the moment quicker than most. This has often allowed her to get 'quicker' players on her hip and drive them to the basket. I've always admired this about her game. Ironically, the 'quick first step' types often end up being a little slower because they don't make reads and decisions as quickly. They can squander their moment with fakes, jab-steps, and dribble feints. If Carol has gotten to be physically quicker, as this video suggests, this season could be a revelation for her.
Edited to add: Before her leg problems, Morgan was unusual for a 6'2" player in having the sort of quickness Carol may have achieved. I certainly hope Morgan comes back just as quick, and quickly too.
