That her parents found the right help to restore her health........better health, better performance, more minutes this coming year. Best to read the whole article......

That clinic and two others like it need to be better known.....it helped end her long ordeal.

Lest anyone think Caroline lacks toughness. She didn’t go through all this to not play so be not surprised at what she does this season. She has a major victory to her credit already.
It would've been easy, perhaps even reasonable, for someone to quit rather than do the long road back. You have to appreciate how hard she worked to get back on the court. That's part of the reason why we all cheered for her so hard last year.

Wow, So powerful. Thanks for sharing. Reading this article and reading Caroline's comments on what she was going through and having that support from her family, her teammates and coaching staff. Definitely happy for Caroline and wishing her all the best.

Great article

Ditto, Ditto, Ditto, Ditto, Ditto, Ditto, Ditto, Ditto. What an amazing young woman! And based on the info in the article, she is still "The Silent Assisn." How can we not love this brave and tenacious woman? All the best to one of our best!

What a great article. I luv it. I want Caroline to come back and be what she was and become an AA. What a terrific journey and great article. God has blessed Caroline. A lesson in perseverance. Never give up.

"COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR"??? No one will bet against Carol!

What a great article about a special person. It reminded me of Caroline's answer during the player interviews at Geno's recent fundraiser. The 5 Huskies players on the panel were asked about their intentions after basketball. She answered that she wanted to coach. Reading about her character in this story tells me that she will succeed at any thing she tries.

She is just one more example of the unbelievable quality of people (not just skilled basketball players), that Geno and staff recruit for the program.

Reading this article, midway, I did tear up - for joy! - and admiration for a young woman indomitably seeking to restore the identity she loved at this time in her life.

Now, it doesn't matter whether she ends up having a professional career.....that she overcame long odds to feel herself again, it gives her the mental space to decide the path ahead her heart may now wish to follow, with no regrets......

Very interesting and inspiring. I live about 5 minutes away from that clinic in The Villages. I have heard a bit about them, but this is such a new approach and concept that there are many doubters too. Avid could use this article as part of their advertising. I know one woman here who had a car accident and claims she is having some mental issues after that accident, that sounds like a good candidate for their services.

Their location next to the world's largest age restricted active adult community probably makes a lot of sense for treating mental decline but I was unaware that they were so involved in head related sports injuries before this article. By the way The Villages has a Uconn sports club that I have not been actively involved with recently, but quite a few years ago they had Meg Culmo as a guest speaker, and back when Uconn was in the ACC the group chartered a bus to a South Florida game and Shea Ralph spoke to the group for a few minutes.

Caroline's progress will be a significant story in the off-season. She looks fit and ready to go, time will tell.

100% Let's never forget, when she was strangely one of the only healthy stars on the team at one point, she carried the team.
That DePaul game in her freshman year was incredible. She was second team All Big East playing only half a season. We were sure we had a future AA on our team in her. Let's see this year. She is a senior and I expect good things. Do not be surprised if she starts. You heard it here.

It’s amazing how debilitating concussions can be to people, impairing their day-to-day for a long period of time. I’m so happy that Caroline’s family found this place and I’m praying that she can have an injury-free 2025-2026 season on this great team.
