yeah, that’s a harmless biofilm that forms on meats processed with chlorine that imparts a lovely unami. not much on presentation, which is why you never lift (cross) the bun (streams).

Carl's Jr. is total meh.

Hardee's is way better.

We had a Hardee’s in Milford when I was a child and it left when I was a child. I loved that place. I still remember the way they cut their lettuce and the sauce. I’m still traumatized by their departure.
