just curious to see the percentage of people who like/dislike candy corn here. People either seem to love it or hate it in my experience. I would have put this in @OkaForPrez thread, but I don't think you can add a poll to a individual post.

I enjoy a quick handful and after that, no more.

I love it. Everyone else in my family hates it. It's definitely a divisive candy. I can see how people don't like it though.

The makers of candy corn must have had the greatest marketer in the history of candy. It sucks, but people still buy it.

You need to break out the candy corn into the subgroups:
Brachs
Not Brachs

Brachs is made with real honey. Not like that high fructose corn syrup garbage knockoff corn that's a little cheaper.

Candy corn and jelly beans - both are pure sugar and equally addicting for me. I don't eat it because I'll scarf down the entire bowl and have a sugar hangover the next day.

It's marketed by the Autumnal Marketing Company, based out of Plymouth, mass.
The same company that markets turkey as a Thanksgiving delicacy. They are devastatingly effective at marketing inferior products.

I agree! I got caught up with that as a kid. At Halloween is was all over the place. It "looked good" so I used to eat it as kid. Then one day I realized it really didn't taste good at all so I stopped for good. A candy corn epiphany.

Mix it with peanuts - 2 or 3 parts peanut to 1 part candy corn.
