LSU also just picked up another big man, 3-starish, he's also very high on them because of his relationship with Korey McCray. Has Oregon pumped in money to their bball program the same way they've done football? I'd be worried about them with what they can show during a visit.

I love this one:

“Yeah, yeah, he played with Kemba Walker, Jeremy Lamb and two others, I don’t know their name,” Vincent said. “They are NBA players.” [Ray Allen also played, sources said.]
Vincent said UConn coach Kevin Ollie and his staff were impressed with Kasongo, who models his game after Amar’e Stoudemire.
“He was very excited and said he likes all the moves Ray did and everybody appreciates Ray and they love him,” Vincent said.
The parents also like the fact that UConn is not that far from Toronto by plane.
“You know UConn is not so far from our house,” Vincent said. “By plane it’s one hour and 30 minutes. By driving its seven hours.”

Very quiet. I know Lyle and Kasongo loved everything about their visits. Haven't heard anything from Cassell.
Any word on how the staff felt the weekend went?

Why are recruits expected to advertise how they feel and think? Sam Cassell Jr and his father have both been through the recruiting process before, they are skilled veterans. Sam's dad had a good NBA career and is experienced dealing with the media. There's no need to speak to them until you have something to gain by spreading information.

Visits are always "quiet" unless a reporter like Zags calls the kid or his family and asks about it. Maybe nobody called Sam, or maybe he didn't feel like answering the same generic questions for the 100th time.

It's not like you can tell anything from these articles anyway. Have you ever seen a quote from a recruit saying that he didn't have a great visit?

He's looking for a twitter follow from his boy Jeremy Lamb.

Denham Brown once scored 111 points in a game. It is required by law that this is mentioned whenever anything remotely related to Denham Brown is posted.
I suppose if your entire life is condensed into a single event, scoring 111 points in a game is better than some alternatives.

I know better to think this is big but he was retweeting UConn fans like crazy last night as well as asking JLamb for that follow. That feels good.

If he has a good HS season, this kid may blow up in the rankings. Not that it matters, but he is way under the radar compared to the quality of his offers. Makes me wonder what the recruitniks are looking at with these ratings. Some of the players in the top 150 end up at Bucknell. Some ranked out of the top 150 get offers from top 5 schools.
