Can you add a notification to the tab as well? Similar to gmail when you get an email you can see it on the tab without having to click on the tab. It would be nice to have the alerts appear the same way.

You can roll your own night theme....at least on iOS

Download the new Firefox browser and enable night mode in the settings.

It's quite good. It renders the Boneyard with teal thread titles with a black background.
