The new logo hate is so overdone. It’s a cool logo.

I’m all for an occasional throwback jersey during our games against GTown or St John’s or whatever but the new logo is fine. It’s nice. And actually looks like a Husky.

The old logo is great but it’s outdated.

Yeah as someone with no nostalgic attachment to the old logo I think the new one is a significant upgrade.
 
Totally agree with the OP, the white husky was classic on all levels.

As someone also said, I have not bought any new gear with the new Clip Art wolf logo, looks soooo cheap and lame. Hate it. Epic fail for Nike. Don’t fix something that ain’t broke.

how about, the block C for away games, the hooked C for games at hartford, and old fluffy husky for games at Gample..!? :rolleyes:

Sorry, but did you take a good look at the other Big East teams' logos shown earlier?

The new logo is powerful and commands attention. The others are the real "clip art", or stylized capital letters, that say nothing about the team as a formidable opponent.
 
The old logo was a friendly looking dog. I don't want a friendly looking mascot. I want a mascot that looks like it wants to rip your throat out. Can they design a Husky logo with this face? I want a rabid Husky.

look, i liked the old logo when it was the old logo, but i got what the university was trying to do with the re-branding and unifying and trying promote a single trademark that the whole school could get behind.
the old logo doesn't even look like a husky, and only reason i would associate the old logo dog as a husky, is because the dog looks fat... as in "husky"..

It was a Siberian white husky... it was pretty unique as it set us apart from other schools that have the husky mascot logo.
 
Sure thing. You got the Big East back. Let's get the old logo back too. Anything you want. How about we re-hire Jim Calhoun too?
