Consisting of A10 & NBE schools (both leagues have similar basketball set ups) united with the local indies.

UConn
Dayton (FBS Call up)
Davidson (FBS Call up)
Duquesne (FBS Call up)
Rhode Island (FBS Call up)
Georgetown (FBS Call up)
Nova (FBS Call up)
Butler (FBS Call up)
Liberty
UMASS

OR... UConn, Butler, Georgetown, and Villanova, can join forces to create a new new big east FCS league, which could look like this.

UConn (FCS drop down)
Georgetown
Nova
Butler
Rhode Island
Wagner
Central Connecticut State
Lafayette
Howard
Monmouth

Hahaha...there's a reason all those FCS schools (Villanova, et al.) are playing at that level. It's because they wanna be. And UCONN isn't about to drop down to FCS for what, so we can lose even more money?

Both of these ideas are non-starters at the gate.

Did you actually come up with this on your own, or did you have a "worst idea team" work it out?

How about a new Northeast league with the following teams?

UConn
Army
Central Connecticut (FBS call-up)
Syracuse (switch back to BE)
Penn State
Buffalo Bills (have been having trouble in AFC east; natural rivalry with Syracuse)

6 teams sets up perfectly for a 10 game double round robin. Then everyone plays one FCS and schedules one P5 game. If Buffalo splits its NFL revenue share the league should have plenty of money.

What do you think? Guys? Where is everyone going?

You haven’t heard my idea about a football/rugby alliance with colleges in New Zealand yet!

I would add the New York Jets so the Bills have a natural rival.

I think you are on to something here! Not sure what they would call it though Div 2 or 3?
Creativity of this magnitude alone should cause an uptick in seasons ticket sales this week!

You might just be the worst troll in the world. Congrats?

True story.

There used to be a guy on the basketball board named Cheezy or Chetty or Cheetah or some darned thing. He was setting a record for consecutive posts without a "like"...

... Steve might be worse...

Stunning Steve seems to be a troll bot 3.0. Just barely walking the line as a believable person.

Whatever the different stages of grieving are, Stunning Steve seems to be stuck on betrayal.

As opposed to this Board? Who want to blame coaches, administrators and Aresco, and never talk about players losing games and fans dropping their support?

Steve, don't forget Maine and Holy Cross. They should be in there too. Do you think the Giants would play us as an independent?
